Sunday Spotlight: Sigma Makeup Brushes

Guys, I'm gonna give it to you straight: Sigma Makeup Brushes are THE BOMB! There, I said it. I love them.  Yes, they are more expensive than other brands who I definitely support and love (*cough* Morphe *cough*) but there is something ultra luxurious about these makeup brushes.

You can tell that there is a difference in the way they are made than that of other brushes in my collection. In fact, I think these rank up there with my ABH brushes! The ferrules are clamped well, the handles are heavy, and the bristles are divinely soft.  Like, I want to find excuses to wear makeup just so I can rub these brushes all over my face... If that sounded mildly sensual, it was.

I received FOUR (details for each one is listed below), and here's how I liked using them the best:

F50 Duo Fibre Brush - This is probably the most luxurious of all the brushes I was sent. It has the heaviest handle and longest bristles, which are more dense towards the ferrule but soft and fluffy at the top where product would sit.  I think this is also the most versatile of the brushes; it could be used for bronzer, blush, or powder and gives a flawless, airbrush finish.

E38 Diffused Crease Brush - The name gives the purpose of this brush away! It is definitely a soft, fluffy eyeshadow brush that works best to create a soft crease contour.

E25 Blending Brush - Meant for eyeshadow but smaller than the E38, this brush has a similar shape to my favorite Morphe eyeshadow blending brush M433.  Truthfully, I don't like this one as much as the M433 but it does work well for getting color more precise into the crease and outer corner when trying to create an everyday OR smokey look!

F84 Angled Kabuki Brush - last but not least, I got a brush that is dense like a foundation brush, but angled like a contour brush.  I personally like it best for blending out cream contour, but it is dense enough that it could evenly distribute foundation across the entire face.

Overall, my first experience with Sigma was very successful.  Would I purchase more brushes from Sigma? Absolutely! If these are out of your price range, here are some alternative, less expensive options for EYE BRUSHES and FACE BRUSHES.  XOXO
