My Favorite Eyebrow Products!

I have recently received a lot of compliments about my eyebrows, which is always funny to me because up until about two years ago, NO ONE was complimenting these over-plucked, sperm-shaped brows! They were also referred to as skinny rainbows, or backwards commas, but it was certainly never anything endearing (I've included a pic for your viewing pleasure). It has taken a LONG DAMN TIME to get the bold brows I always dreamed of and I am proud of the progress they've made ever since my first trip to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Bar in Chicago. You can read more of that story HERE.

But with great brows, comes great responsibility. I often get asked, "what products do you use? How do you apply it? How did you shape your brows?" So, first things first: I did not choose the shape of my brows. The goddess who fixed my brows at ABH Brow Bar is fully responsible for resuscitating these poor babies with a stencil, brow powder, and an order not to touch my brows with tweezers for a few months.
The "Glow UP" is strong with this one!

As for the other two questions, if you're interested in seeing me apply my brows, head over to my Instagram: beautyblogplusadog and watch my story! I uploaded a series of videos that show how I do my eyebrows with some tips and tricks!

And lastly, I've included my favorite products below! There are a couple that I really enjoy for every budget (and believe it or not, the two products $10 or less are my favorites):

Makeup Revolution Brow Pomade ($9) - My tried-and-true, holy grail eyebrow product.  Truly the greatest product on the market and it's under ten dollars! CAN I GET AN AMEN?!  However, this is not necessarily the quickest or easiest product to use right off that bat - it does take some practice to really nail down but the color and consistency is PERFECTION.

NYX Precision Brow Pencil ($10) - Second favorite eyebrow product and again, it is only $10! It has a retractable chisel tip that is so easy to use! It's not too soft or too waxy, it's perfect and its fool-proof! It also comes in at least 10 different colors so there's a color for everyone!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Bold Brow Kit ($36) - This product is SO nostalgic for me, I couldn't do an eyebrow post without mentioning it! The OG product/kit that initially changed the game for me.  The powder is easy to use, not overly pigmented, and works to fill in even the most sparse brows.  The brush that comes in this kit is still my favorite for applying ANY brow product (best spoolie ever, too!), and the setting gel is like super glue for hairs that tend to go awry!

Benefit Goof Proof Pencil ($24) - I originally received this as a free gift from Ulta and loved it so much, I've purchased two more since then!  The color is a hair warmer than I normally prefer but the consistency of the product - not too pigmented or waxy - is what really sold me! It has a tear-drop shaped tip, which also helps with giving a flawless application! While I obviously really like this product, the NYX has recently replaced it.

If I had to pick one product I like best, it would probably be eyebrows (other than skincare) because it truly has the ability to change your whole face. So I hope this post (and my Instagram story) helps YOU achieve the brows of your dreams, too! XOXO
