Review Day Tuesday: Empties - Would I Repurchase? [PART TWO]

I've seen a lot of these "Empties" videos surfacing lately on YouTube - which in case you don't know, is essentially people going through their beauty-related garbage and letting you know whether or not they would repurchase a product now that they've used it in its entirety - and thought it might be cool to do one for my blog.  I have been saving empty product containers for the past few months and realized I had A LOT so I decided to split this into two parts: Skincare and Makeup/Hair Care. You can read the first part about skincare HERE. But today, we are tackling makeup and haircare!

So without further adieu, let's do some trash pickin'!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer - This was my holy grail concealer for years but I found a few from the drugstore that I may or may not like better.  You can read more about that HERE. Would I repurchase? Absolutely.

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara - I have been using this mascara on and off for nearly TEN YEARS! It was the second mascara from Sephora I ever tried and I loved it for so long.  "So why did you stop using it?" Glad you asked, my answer is this: It dries out so quickly.  I find myself trying to rewet the formula with eye drops only a month after opening it.  Total bummer when it's $19 a tube. Will I repurchase? Probably. Will I be disappointed when it dries out the next day? Probably.

CoverGirl The SuperSizer Mascara - Another product I LOVE that I have reviewed and mentioned many times (click HERE for more details); it is currently my favorite mascara.  In terms of repurchasing though, I am feeling rather conflicted.  CoverGirl sells in China, which means they test on animals - because it's the law there...  that does not sit well with me. I am going to make an honest effort to replace this mascara with a brand that does not believe in animal testing, because it bothers me that much.

Kaplan MD Lip 20 Mask - This is the coolest lip product I have ever used.  Granted, I have never used another "lip mask" other than like one of those jelly sheet mask kind but this is better than any of those! You scrub your lips, and put rub a thick layer of this on and let it sit for 15min then you wipe it off.  It makes my lips so plump and so hydrated, I am obsessed with it.

Vaseline Original Lip Therapy - Just "meh" all around.  It's $3 and it works like it's $3.  Moving on.

Lush Cosmetics Mint Julips Lip Scrub - I spotlighted this magical product as one of my first Sunday posts.  Read it HERE.

Pantene Pro-V Dry Shampoo - This is the second one I've used up. It is my holy grail dry shampoo. I did a review comparing this dry shampoo to four others on the market at varying price points and you can read that in full HERE.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Conditioner - Okay, so let's just be real for a second, alright?  This is a $34 conditioner.  It should be magical.  But it isn't.  I mean I used it all because hello, check out the price tag (and it smells amazing) but I don't think it did a whole lot for my hair.  I need all the moisture for the torment I have put my hair through over the years but it has to be lightweight or I look like a drowned sewer rat.  I realize I'm asking a lot of a conditioner but this didn't cut it.

** I hope this saves ya a couple bucks on the high ticket items you just don't need, and helps you find some makeup and hair care solutions! XOXO **
