First Impressions Friday: Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist... is a dupe for a $50 setting spray!?

Alright, I'm just gonna get right to the point here today because I am SO PUMPED about this recent discovery that I have to fill you in on it.

You've heard of the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, right?! If you haven't, go to THIS POST and read up  Also, so many YouTube influencers LOVE this product. Quick recap: it is an oil-based setting spray with a super-fine mist that makes you glow to the heavens all day long. It doesn't leave oil spots on your face or disrupt your makeup, it just adds an overall burst of hydration. It also comes in beautiful, luxurious packaging.

The downside? It is $50 at Sephora for only 1.35oz.... To put that in perspective, some other best-selling setting sprays are Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Setting Spray ($31 for 4.0oz) and Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix Setting Spray ($30 for 4.22oz)... As you can see, it's expensive.

BUT DON'T WORRY PEOPLE, I AM HERE WITH A FABULOUS DUPE! And that is the Pixi by Petra Hydrating Milky Mist.  It is only $15 for 2.7 oz. While you will miss out on the gorgeous packaging of Tatcha, the product inside the bottle looks the same, smells the same, and most importantly, feels the same on the skin.  So if you're not into that hefty price tag, this is a great, affordable alternative.  The only downside is that Pixi's mister is not as good as Tatcha's.  It still works great, no oil stains, just doesn't come out as fine.
