First Impressions Friday: Full Face of New DRUGSTORE Makeup!

Hey guys! To those of you who are repeat readers, THANK YOU! And to those who are new here, WELCOME! I'm happy to have you!

I have noticed that most of you seem to LOVE first impressions and anything drugstore related so this First Impressions Friday, I thought I'd bring you something EXTRA SPECIAL: a full face of brand spankin' new products that all come from the drugstore!  I wore all of these products this past Wednesday and put them through the ringer: several dog walks, a nearly two hour gym session, and driving with the windows down!

Flower Beauty BB Cream in "Fair"- I love love LOOOOVE this BB Cream! It is full coverage, has a natural finish, and did not get cakey whatsoever.  Even through about two hours of working out, it did not crease or fade either!  My ONLY complaint is that when I opened the tube and tried to squeeze it onto the back of my hand, clear liquid (not sure if it was water, alcohol, or oil) shot out all over my lap.  Let this be a lesson folks: Shake really, really, really well before using because it separates.

NYX Faux White Eyeliner in "Lavender Blush"- Super pigmented and opaque with the perfect hint of color.  This liner comes a wide variety of shades from powder pink to mint green; if you're just starting to dabble in colored eyeliner or are looking for subtle ways to incorporate a pop of color into your everyday look - this is it!

Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer + Corrector - Surprisingly creamy and blendable. I heard from The beYOUty Bureau, it was a dupe for Tarte's Shape Tape concealer but I honestly like this WAY more and its only a third of the price!  It did not crease or get cakey and it is definitely on the fuller coverage side.  It has a beautiful, natural finish, too!

e.l.f. Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette -  Where do I begin?! I can't say enough good things about this eyeshadow palette.  THIS IS DA BOMB! It has 10 matte, neutral shades that all blend like a dream.  You could do a natural, work-appropriate, daytime eye or you could really smoke it out for a more sultry, night-out, dramatic kind of look.  If you're wondering what drugstore eyeshadow palette to get, I HIGHLY recommend this one!  Definitely my favorite so far and it's only $10.

Neutrogena Bronzer Quad in "Sunkissed" -  This is a nice bronzer.  Is it my favorite though? No. Doesn't hold a candle to my holy grail bronzer. I also find it a tad too warm for my fair skin.  Darker complexions can probably get away with it, but not I.  It blends well and lasts all day, so bonus points for that.  Overall, B+.

Covergirl Tru Blend Blush, "Medium Rose" - Similarly, this is a nice blush.  Is it my favorite though? No. Unfortunately, there are few drugstore blushes I really LOVE.  I find that high-end blushes tend to perform better  and therefore, look better on my skin.  Because I naturally have redness in my cheeks, I am very picky about the blushes I will wear.  However, it is pretty and buildable in pigment, which I like. It is DEFINITELY an upgrade from it's sister, "Light Rose," which is basically just a subtle, baby pink highlighter.

Physician's Formula Highlight & Contour Palette in "Shimmer Strobing" - This product knocked my expectations OUT OF THE PARK!  I mixed the gold and white shade for my cheek bone highlight, and was STUNNED!  The formula was beautiful, beaming, and blendable.  I was really impressed with its performance; it works just as well as some far more expensive high-end highlighters.  I also used only the white shade for my brow bone and inner corner highlight, and it stayed ALL DAY!

For mascara, I wore Maybelline Lash Stiletto which I reviewed in yesterdays #tbt post! Click HERE to read it!

** I hope this post helps guide your next drugstore makeup haul!  Let me know what you think of these products in the comments below!  XOXO **
