First Impressions Friday: DRUGSTORE HAUL

Alright guys, let's all just say what's on our minds, okay? I am SO GUILTY of not knowing when to say NO to makeup.  Okay, that's false. I do know that I should probably say no to makeup indefinitely because I have more than I can use in this lifetime. The actual problem is that I CAN'T say no.  It calls to me. Moth to a flame. Ya know? Good news for YOU, my loyal reader(s), is that I take the guess work out of buying makeup.  Rejoice in my lack of willpower everyone.

I recently went to Walmart and picked up a few products I've heard various Youtubers/Bloggers rave about to see if they lived up to the hype. Luckily, nothing in this haul cost more than $7... One of the more affordable, less detrimental-to-my-wallet hauls I've ever done. YAY! So let's jump in:

Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer in "Reserve Cabana" - Recommended by Youtube Influencer, Kelly Strack, as an undereye brightening powder and I LOVE IT! Best product in the haul! This product is similar to the Essence highlighter but I actually like this one a teeny bit better.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer in "Ticket to Brazil" - The formula is  nice but the color?! One word: Jaundice.  It should come with a warning: not intended for fair skinned broads or you'll end up looking terribly sick.

Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Primer - Similar to Urban Decay's Primer Potion, but only a tenth of the price AND it held my eyeshadow in place for over 12 hours and through 30 minutes of cardio! Can you say, "winner, winner!"

Milani Baked Blush in "Berry Amore" - beautifully pigmented with a hint of glow, this blush is perfection! Highly recommend!

Salon Perfect Perfectly Natural Multi Pack Lashes in "615" - These lashes are a total dupe for House of Lashes' "Siren." This 5-pack costs $8.99, which is cheaper than one pack of anything by HOL.  Regardless, not my favorite lashes: they're a little too long for my liking and the gap between lashes is not flattering on me. If you're looking for a good pair of drugstore lashes, I prefer THESE.

e.l.f. Hydrogel Under Eye Masks - Awesome as a hydrating under-eye treatment for days when you want to wear a thicker, dryer, and/or more full coverage concealer such as the NARS Soft Matte Concealer or Tarte's Shape Tape. Plus it's a 3-pack for only $8?! Definitely repurchasing.

e.l.f. Tinted Lip Oil - This is an interesting product.  I wasn't sure what to expect because of the name of it, "tinted lip oil," but it is essentially a hydrating lipgloss.

** YAY! We made it to the end! I hope this was helpful to you, and also inspires you to treat yourself to some goodies. You have earned it! XOXO**
