Review Day Tuesday: Marc Jacobs Beauty Perfecting Coconut Setting Mist

I have been anxiously awaiting the launch of Marc Jacobs' Summer 2017 Coconut Collection to perfectly compliment their AMAZING coconut primer! So naturally, as I perusing the aisles of Sephora, the beautiful, sleek, all white packaging with frosted glass and silver accents was spotted out of the corner of my eye... and like a moth to a flame, I ran to it.  At the time, they only had the new Re(cover) Perfecting Coconut Setting Mist available but without an ounce of hesitation, I picked it up and dropped it into my bag to later be purchased (among many other things).

Gorgeous, Am I right?!

I got it home that afternoon, and immediately put on an entire face of makeup.  Did I have somewhere to be? No. But that didn't stop me! As I finished up my look, I was so excited for that last, setting spray step when I could finally be graced by the gentle touch of finely atomized coconut glory... when I was rudely assaulted by something that smelled of old plastic. I ran to the mirror, and to my horror, there were small dot-like stains all over my face.  I tried to fan myself to dry it quickly but those spots never disappeared. I tried to dab the excess off with a beauty blender and it only made it worse. It completely disrupted my foundation and unfortunately there was no saving it.

I wanted to love this product SO BAD but it wasn't nearly as good as the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist or Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray.  Therefore, this beaut had to make its way back to Sephora. *disappointed sigh*

However, I have super high hopes for everything else in this collection, such as the O!Mega Bronzer and the Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter - both of which I will be reviewing ASAP.

** If there are any products you'd like for me to review, please leave suggestions in the comments below XOXO **
